What a wonderful day we had last Thursday on the How To Create A Successful and Profitable Training Business Workshop A workshop is only ever as good as the people on it and as soon as I walked into the room and met all the participants I just knew we would have a great experience. Thanks everyone who came for your inputs and inspirations!

One of the delegates had literally just booked on the day before and I was thinking ‘Gosh, she must be one of these people who just goes into Google, finds what she wants and goes for it!’ So asked her was that the case and if not how had she found me?

‘Oh no’ she said, ‘I didn’t do that… I’ve actually been stalking you for 2 years!’ 

And she went on to explain how she had been following me on Twitter, Facebook and Linked In, reading my weekly emails and blogs and regularly checking into my website. She said that she really liked my practical approach and felt that she could really relate to me and had been waiting for the right opportunity in her diary to finally come on the Workshop.

When it came to the part of the course where I highlight the importance of staying in touch with your prospective clients I had a ready made real live example!! Doing this, by whatever method you choose, is just SO important, actually it’s crucial to the success of your business.

When you are in your office or at home writing your blog, posting to Twitter, or maybe even putting off making that call or sending out a newsletter you may feel as if you are in a vacuum… You may feel ‘What’s the point as no-one will read it anyway’?

Well don’t. Do it. 

It really is these little activities that you do EVERY day, these little keep in touch points that enable you to reach out to your prospective client, engage with them and build that trusting relationship that is going to make you top of mind when they have a need for your services.

What can be more important than that?
